A new Germantown nonprofit organization is putting the health of their neighbors first as they work to build a stronger community. The Germantown Community Coalition is joining forces with the Wisconsin Vaccine Hunters and Angels, in partnership with Hayat Pharmacy to host two pop-up vaccination clinics starting Tuesday, September 14th.
“As a coalition comprised of members of our community, we feel it’s our responsibility to provide opportunities, education, and access to Germantown. We are pleased to partner with Hayat Pharmacy offering this vaccine pop-up to a community we are proud to call our own” said Meg Maikowski, Germantown Community Coalition President.
No pre-registration is required for this event, but those interested are welcome to set up a reminder via the organization’s website at https://www.germantowncommunitycoalition.org/events. Here is how the event will work:
The clinics will be hosted from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5. No appointments are necessary.
The clinics will take place at Germantown Senior Center, W162N11960 Park Ave, Germantown, WI 53022.
Hayat Pharmacy will be distributing the Pfizer vaccine. Those receiving their first dose of the vaccine will be able to return for their second dose on Tuesday, October 5.
After receiving the vaccination, recipients will wait 15 minutes for observation.
Masks are required to be worn throughout the process.
